Knowledge of LP is an added qualification. Should be familiar with product specifications and the blending procedures for different products. 10 years work experience Task Description: Works for developing Short Range Operating Plans/Yearly Operating Plans/5 Years Business plans in coordination with OSPAS. Verify any operational constraints or unit outages with all the concerned prior to submitting the case to OSPAS. Handles Planning issues in Process Engineering activities, performs special analyses and prepares reports for other planning-economics related problems as required. Analyses the product quality giveaway and recommends changes in the process units to minimize the loss from the quality giveaways. . Work with OSPAS for product quality waivers in case where the correction is not possible for any reason. Prepares 3 years T&I schedules and getting it approved by all the division heads and Refinery Manager. Follow up with OSPAS for their concurrence. Discuss and work with OSPAS to minimize/ eliminate overlap with other Refineries. Communicate to OSPAS for any updates or changes in Tanks and Refinery T&I schedules as and when applicable. Also responsible for making a detailed unit wise shutdown schedules including maintenance, catalyst regenerations, units shutdown and startup time. Prepares the production loss from any operational upsets planned or unplanned and highlight to all the concerned both inside and outside the refinery persons. Issues the monthly look back report based on the actual performance events of the months using actual product prices received from OSPAS. Provides planning and decision support for Management in a variety of routine and non-routine areas, including new opportunities, special requests, and recovery from upsets (unit operations, product blending and inventory control), shutdowns and start-ups. Conducts economic evaluations, prepares special reports, and engages in other projects review as required. Mentor the young Saudi PDP for their development.
