Supply Chain Coordinators (BAPCO) BAPCO Bahrain Male The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), wholly owned by the Government of Bahrain, is engaged in the oil industry including exploration and prospecting for oil, drilling, production, refining, distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, sales and exports of crude oil and refined products. The company owns and operates a 267,000 barrels-a-day refinery, storage facilities for more than 14 million barrels, a marketing terminal and a marine terminal for its petroleum products. Qualifications: Holds a Bachelors Degree in Operations Management from a recognized university, preferably with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) Minimum of 10 years experience including at least 5 years practical experience in managing a lubricants or chemical supply chain. Task Description: Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Lubricants, the incumbent will be responsible for all supply chain activities. Responsible for the Supply Chain, product manufacture and warehouse activities, specifically: develop package supplier agreements and appoint suitable package suppliers and negotiate cost effective supply terms; coordinate product manufacture at the outsourced blending plant and direct Logistics Supervisor for the scheduling of supplies to the outsourced full supply chain warehouse operation and inventory control so that orders meet customer on-time delivery. To direct the Customer Service Representative so that customer orders and supply queries are handled promptly and efficiently. To work with IT Department on the development of the order handling and the warehouse inventory control software programmes and liaise with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator who will handle the and sales reporting software programme.
