Technology & Technical Services Coordinators (BAPC BAPCO Bahrain Male The Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), wholly owned by the Government of Bahrain, is engaged in the oil industry including exploration and prospecting for oil, drilling, production, refining, distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, sales and exports of crude oil and refined products. The company owns and operates a 267,000 barrels-a-day refinery, storage facilities for more than 14 million barrels, a marketing terminal and a marine terminal for its petroleum products. Qualifications: Holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized university, with knowledge of lubricant formulations and experience in the science of Tribology Minimum of 10 years experience gained working for a major international oil company and knowledge in automotive and industries related to lubricants Good background knowledge in lubricant formulating and technical selling in the lubricant industry is mandatory. Task Description: Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Lubricants, the incumbent will have direct responsibility to identify the performance, develop product formulations and quality standard requirements of the product range to meet the sales market requirements. To develop a comprehensive range of product approvals and licenses; to prepare technical product information; outline a range of Technical Services in conjunction with the Technical Services Supervisor. Manage the Technical Services Supervisor for him to develop the technical service activities to meet the sales plan. In conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, to prepare monthly programmes for the Technical Services Supervisor in support of sales to the Sales team in meeting their sales progress and targets. To coordinate with the Supply Chain Coordinator concerning product quality and customer product complaints.
