   Assistant Mechanical Engineers (Saudi Aramco)

  • Qualifications:
    • Two (2) year degree in Mechanical or Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
    • With 4 years related experience
    • Must have BMS experience
    • Must have a very good command of oral and written English.
    • Must be familiar with health care engineering and maintenance, engineering codes and utility monitoring standards.
    Task Description:
    • Manage the Building Management System (BMS) operation to ensure uninterrupted and efficient monitoring of the medical facilities, utilities and security systems.
    • Must have knowledge in monitoring and controlling systems operations:
      1. Medical gases (O2, medical air, medical vacuum, waste anesthesia gas scavenging system).
      2. Pneumatic tube (Lab specimen transportation system).
      3. Dental Oral Evacuation system.
      4. Operating room air conditioning system for volume, temperature and humidity.
      5. Airborne Infection Isolation (AII) rooms for alarms in pressure relationship.
      6. Building control, fire safety and security systems.
      7. Control and monitoring of hospital and medical facilities’ external doors.
      8. Fire detection and suppression systems.
      9. Operating room humidity sensors.
      10. Electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Reviewing and evaluating vendor and contractor capabilities to determine their suitability to perform maintenance services.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple projects that maybe ongoing at the same time.
    • Familiar with building codes and other international standards, such as NFPA, ANSI, ASHRAE, etc.
    • Preparing standards and specifications to be used for procurement of new or replacement equipment.
    • Reviewing and evaluating vendor and contractor capabilities to determine their suitability to perform major services.
    • Performing cost analysis and value engineering as appropriate.
    • Generate analytical reports to advise the management on systems reliability.
